Katharina Rinderle ist neben ihrer Tätigkeit als Filmproduzentin und Dramaturgin, Geschäftsführerin der LATEMAR FILM mit Schwerpunktsetzung auf Europäische Kino- und High-End Serienproduktionen. Sie ist Beiratsmitglied von GERMAN FILMS, Vorstandsmitglied der Deutschen Produzentenallianzin der Sektion Kino, Mitglied des Fördervereins „TOP Talente“ und der AG DOK. 

 

Seit 2016 gehört sie der deutschen OSCAR Auswahl-Jury für den BEST INTERNATIONAL FEATURE FILM der Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences an. Gemeinsam mit ihren Jurykollegen schickte sie die Produktionen TONI ERDMANN, AUS DEM NICHTS und SYSTEMSPRENGER als Deutsche OSCARKandidaten ins Rennen. Seit 2017 ist sie von der Staatsministerin für Kultur und Medien zum BKMJurymitglied benannt und gehört dem Filmfördergremium an. Als Produzentin mit internationaler Ausrichtung ist sie auf Co-Production Markets und Filmfestivals im In- und Ausland vertreten, dazu zählen Einladungen der Robert-Bosch-Stiftung, der Kanadischen Botschaft, des Generalkonsulats Brüssel und der Filmschaffenden Delegation in Los Angeles/IFP. Mehrere Jahre ist sie im Hamburger Produzentenverbund, dem EDN - European Documentary Network und Women in Film and Television vertreten. Langjährige Erfahrung weist sie in beratenden Tätigkeiten auf. Für das ZDF lektorierte sie Kino- und TVStoffe. Weitere berufliche Stationen führen sie zum Weltvertrieb und Produktionshaus BETA CINEMA, zum NORDMEDIA Film Funding und zur Tätigkeit als Filmdozentin. Am Deutschen Filminstitut DFF war sie als Mitglied der Auswahlkommission für Wettbewerb und Filmprogramm des Internationalen Filmfestivals zuständig. Als Redakteurin, Moderatorin u.a. agiert sie von 1999 bis 2011 für das renommierte MAX OPHÜLS PREIS Filmfestival. Dort leitet und führt sie Filmgespräche und Interviews mit herausragenden Filmschaffenden, darunter Daniel Brühl, Henri Hübchen, Leander Haussmann, Christiane Paul, Biber Gullatz und Barbara Rudnik (+). Sie absolvierte mehrere Film-Meisterklassen bei Prof. Francesco Casetti (Yale), Hollywood-Regisseur Frank Oz, der internationalen Arthouse Produzentin Lita Stantic und hält den Master of Arts als Filmproduzentin inne, mit Auszeichnung in Hamburg abgeschlossen. Ihre Produktionen erhalten zahlreiche Auszeichnungen und werden weltweit auf über hundert Filmfestivals gezeigt.
