LATEMAR FILM is focused on international feature, series and documentary films, mainly as high end cinema and serial productions (STRUGGLING LIFE, SPLICE OF BLOOD, MME LE COMMISSAIRE based on the bestseller novels by Pierre Martin).

Claims of LATEMAR FILM are in-depth development and the realization of groundbreaking screenplays, characterized by a deeply unique entrenchment and settings of European productions.

Current cinematic and artistic series formats include CICERO, a search for traces of the acclaimed musicians Roger & Eugen Cicero, directed by German Director`s prize winner Kai Wessel, created by Katharina Rinderle in coproduction with NDR, RBB Germany, TVR Romania; the bestselling series MADAME LE COMMISSAIRE, based on the eponymous novels by Pierre Martin and co-partners: Deal Productions (LUX) & White Lion Films, Mediawan (FR); the series STRUGGLING LIFE, directed/co-written by Nicolai Rohde (Netflix crime hit TOTENFRAU); SPLICE OF BLOOD (writer/director: Int. Emmy winner: Friedemann Fromm); European and International Feature Films FAITH / TAKO TSUBO (directed & written by Tereza Kotyk in coproduction with ELLLY Films, (AUT) and TEDESCO (director/co-author: Tobias Ineichen, author: Martin Maurer) with renowend co-partner TURNUS FILM (SUI).

Invitations to Co-production markets worldwide including invitations by Robert Bosch Foundation, the Film Festival of CANNES, International Film Partners IFP committee Los Angeles, the Canadian Embassy, BFI/FFA as well as the Consulate general of European Union, Brussels.

LATEMAR realized the elaborate shooting of the drama WAR PHOTOGRAPHER in Italian Toscana and Maremma region with international cast and crew. Co-production partners for the produced and upcoming films are based in Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Luxembourg, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Romania, and Belgium. LATEMAR FILM supports mentoring of YOUNG TALENTS be it actors, directors, authors, cinematographers or trainees in all artistically areas and the field of production and on set to promote prospective professionals.

Our office and production facilities were initially located in Villa Trebitsch on the STUDIO HAMBURG premises, before moving to the award-winning passive house on Paul-Roosen Street in the St. Pauli district. Since 2017, we have been based in the outstanding CONVOY offices in Hamburg Eppendorf.

Den hochkarätigen Spielfilm-, Dokumentar- und Serienstoffen liegt neben ihrer internationalen Ausrichtung und den Schauplätzen im In- und Ausland, technische und inhaltliche Innovation zu Grunde: Originalität, Vielschichtigkeit und Aussagekraft der Filmthemen werden großgeschrieben. Die von LATEMAR FILM produzierten Filme gewinnen zahlreiche Auszeichnungen im In- und Ausland, darunter erste Filmpreise. Weltweit ist die Produktionsfirma auf Branchen- und Co-Production Meetings vertreten. Mit LATEMAR FILM ist Katharina Rinderle Jurymitglied in mehreren Gremien und renommierten Film Festivals, langjähriges Vorstandsmitglied der Sektion Kino der Deutschen Produzenten Allianz Film & Fernsehen (bis 2024), und Beiratsmitglied von GERMAN FILMS (bis 2022). Sie ist im filmischen Beirat der Hamburg Media School vertreten und unterrichtet als Dozentin die Film-Produzentenklasse des renommierten Masterstudiengangs.

Unsere Büro- und Produktionsräume befanden sich zu Beginn in der Villa Trebitsch auf dem Gelände von STUDIO HAMBURG, später im preisgekrönten Passivhaus in der Paul-Roosen Str. auf St. Pauli. Seit 2017 sind wir in den schönen CONVOY-Büros im Hamburger Stadtteil Eppendorf ansässig.
